Aluisio De Senna was born in Brazil, famous worldwide for its soccer champions, and grew up playing soccer barefoot in city streets. As such, he developed amazing ball control and a deep love for the game. As he grew, his talent in soccer became increasingly apparent and his childhood days were full of soccer from sunup until sundown, interrupted only by school. His exceptional ball control and brilliant playmaking made him a favorite on many club teams. While attending college, he played professionally with Club Paysandu, a professional club in northern Brazil. Upon receiving his physical education degree, he taught P.E. and coached soccer teams in Brazilian schools. Years later, he moved to the U.S. and became acquainted with American soccer, playing recreational soccer for many years in the Inland Empire. Currently, Aluisio works in the educational field at Loma Linda Academy. He has noticed tremendous opportunity for youth soccer in the U.S. but also the lack of emphasis on skills that would take players to the next level. The goals of Brazilian Skills Soccer Academy are to give young athletes intensive skills instruction, build confidence on the field, and develop an eye for playmaking to help them unlock their potential and reach their goals in soccer, whether it be to make the varsity team, make a winning impression at club tryouts, or prepare for a college soccer scholarship. Aluisio’s philosophy in soccer is to have fun on the field!
